Person Place Thing w/ Randy Cohen, Paper Anniversary & Fran Leadon Book Launch
7:00 - Person Place Thing with Randy Cohen
After twelve years writing The Ethicist for the New York Times, Randy Cohen now hosts Person Place Thing, an interview show based on this idea: People are particularly engaging when they speak, not directly about themselves, but about something they care about. Guests talk about one person, one place, and one thing that are important to them.
For this show, Randy interviews Fran Leadon, author of the just-published Broadway: A History of New York City in Thirteen Miles, which the New York Times Book Review called “meticulously researched” and “graced with wry wit.”
8:30 - Paper Anniversary
Paper Anniversary is anchored by husband/wife duo Andy Stuckey and Katherine Slingluff. Originally from Alabama, Andy and Katherine live in Brooklyn and released the album “Signature Confessions” in 2014. They will provide music between each of the three segments of Person Place Thing and at 8:30 play a rollicking full set.
