Your weekly vocal workout! This class will give you the basics of vocal technique, combining methods from various styles of singing to give you tools to expand your range, improve your tone, gain more body and breath support, and increase your ability to express yourself with variety, confidence, and enjoyment while you sing. Each week we'll concentrate on a different aspect of singing, and move through a series of vocal exercises to help you explore your voice. We'll also pick solo and group repertoire to apply the technique of singing and give each person a chance to explore his/her voice. Everyone will have the chance to sing solo throughout the sessions, in a supportive atmosphere that can help you work through the nerves of singing for others. After years of teaching private lessons, Emily has created this class to give you the best tricks and tips for your voice in an eight-week group format.
